OBASANJO.....WOMEN ARE MORE RELIABLE THAN MEN.

The former Nigeria President (Olusegun Obasanjo) said this at the meeting with the executives of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, at his Hilltop resident in Abeokuta, where he received the ''Father of the Nation Award''.

"One of the best Journalist that ever served me was a woman , a person of Mrs Oluremi Oyo, this made it clear to me that women are more reliable than men when it comes to Political issues. when a woman decided to stick with you, you can really believe and confide in her.

"But if a man tells you he is behind you and you catch him in another meeting, he will boldly tell you "This is Politics."

"Politics is another thing when a Politician's words cannot be believed, A good politician must be a man or woman of honour that trully belives in morality.

"However the former President said he was unhappy when women are not often given chance(s) to exhibit their potentials just for the sake of cultural or religious background, adding that building a nation could not be done only by men.
