House of Representatives Pass 13 Bills in 20 Minutes

 

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 31, passed 13 bills within 20 minutes at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The bills were passed after they were read a third time. However, a similar episode happened in December 2015 when the house passed 130 bills within 30 minutes.

3. A bill to amend the water resources Act

4. A bill to amend the endangered species Act

5. A bill for an Act to amend the agricultural and
Rural management training institute Act

6. A bill for an Act to amend the telecommunications and postal offences Act

7. Abill for an Act to amend the treaty to establish the African Economic Community relating to the Pan-African parliament Act.

8. A bill for an Act to amend the utilities charges commission Act.

9.A bill for an Act to amend the chartered institute of stockbrokers Act.

10. A bill for an Act to amend the Petroleum
Training institute Act.

11. A bill for an Act to amend the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency Act.

12. A bill for an Act to amend the quantity surveyors Act.

13. A bill for an Act to amend the bees (import, control and management) Act.
