Paris Jackson now has a constant reminder that her father is still looking after her.
Michael Jackson's only daughter, 18, debuted a new tattoo on Instagram Monday, cover art from her father's 1989 multi-platinum album Dangerous. The image features the King of Pop's eyes in an intricate frame featuring animals including a monkey, elephant, and peacock.
She also included her own heartfelt message: "Never forget your roots, and always be proud of where you came from."
According to an Instagram post from tattoo artist Justin Lewis of Timeless Tattoo in Hollywood, the body art will be completed in one more session, where he'll add some shading.
The 18-year-old has gotten a number of tattoos in recent months. She previously honored her father's memory in ink when she had "Queen of My Heart" in Michael's handwritingtattooed on her forearm, also done by Lewis.
Next month will mark the seventh anniversary of Michael's death. The legendary performer died on June 25, 2009, at age 50.
